Walter Baker W118 on Sale at Saks Fashion Fix

Heads-up savvy shoppers, The Recessionista has found an amazing sale on top designer Walter Baker on shopping club Saks Fashion Fix. I’m a long-time fan of this designer, and love his style, and fabulous dresses and tops. I attend his fashion presentation at New York Fashion Week every year.  The Saks Fashion Fix sale offers his lower-priced line, W118, at reductions of up to 70% off of retail. If you haven’t heard of Fashion Fix, this is Saks version of the discount shopping clubs like Gilt, Ideeli and Haute Look, It was about time Saks started their own thing.  Nordstrom got in on the action with the acquisition of HauteLook. Doing time limited sales from their inventory is a great way to move the merchandise.   I bought my Walter Maxi dress for the same price as I paid for one the Jason Wu dresses I bought at Target.  Food for fashion thought, eh? 🙂  Most of the dresses on the sale are under $50.00.
