Starbucks has a little treat for shoppers out braving the snow, torrential rains (California) and just plain old crowds at malls today. From December 21-22 customers that purchase any 12-pack of any Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew at Starbucks stores in the U.S. and Canada will also receive a free Starbucks card, preloaded with $5. Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew is a good substitute for regular brewed coffee when you don’t have time, or  are traveling.   You can make the coffee with hot water even from the tap, if no boiling water is available.  Buy the instant for yourself,  and use the free Starbucks Card for a stocking stuffer.  I was just in Las Vegas, and very happy to have my Starbucks VIA, since most Vegas hotels have no in room coffee.  There is nothing worse than having to go in search of hot coffee at a huge hotel in the early  morning hours.
