Some of you may remember awhile back when I wrote about the terrific looking Reiss Shola dress that Kate Middleton, aka the Duchess of Cambridge, aka Princess Katherine, wore when the Obamas came to London on a recent State visit.  The dress is definitely rich enough looking for a state occasion, but the price tag of $330.00 USD  is surprisingly, not quite as high-end as you might think Buckingham Palace would warrant.  Now Reiss has come forward with a cousin of the sold-out Shola dress which is entirely Princess worthy, called the Lola. The new Lola dress is marketed as a move on from the Reiss Shola dress.  Reiss describes Lola ” as a timeless day through to evening dress in a vibrant lava red.” Just like the Shola dress, the Lola has short sleeves, an asymmetric neckline, defined waistband and figure hugging skirt, making it perfect for the office or dinner date dress. Or greeting the Obamas. However, it is not a perfect dress for hugging the Queen.  No dress is a good fit for that one 🙂

The newest Shola dress, the Lola  is available  in an elegant cappuccino the same camel color worn by Kate Middleton.   So if you lusted after the sold-out Shola dress, save the date to shop Reiss tomorrow for the new Lola dress. On Sept. 30, 2011 you can save 10 % when you order the dress or any item from the Reiss Autumn Winter collections. Simply shop Reiss , no promo code necessary,  in order to receive the discount. Valid only Friday, September 30th 9am – midnight EST.
