Rent the Runway Reveals New Year’s Eve Fashion Trends

By  |

Rent the Runway just published some interesting fashion statistics on what customers are renting for the New Year’s Eve festivities.   Looks like my lace and sequins predictions have been confirmed.  Most Rent the Runway customers are renting sequin cocktail dresses by some of my favorite designers like Milly, Nicole Miller, and Moschino.  Rentals of lace dresses and strapless dresses are a much smaller percentage. Milly’s delicious looking pink dress with rosette skirt is also a top rental choice.  Click here to see all the detail on what’s trending for New Year’s Eve fashions. I don’t see Los Angeles on the list, so I guess LA fashionistas are shopping the sales or their own closets rather than renting.

Pictured: Milly’s Pink Almond Rosette Dress is one of the top NYE Rentals on Rent the Runway.

If you’re interested in renting a special designer for 2012, check out Rent the Runway using my referral link. If you use my link, I receive a referral fee when you rent, and you can also refer your friends and receive a credit to bring the cost of your rental down.  Discount shopping and credits are some of my favorite savvy shopping tools. 🙂
