Red Carpet Style for Prom: Georgina Chapman of Marchesa for JC Penney

Oscar  season is a good time to talk about red carpet glamour.  One design house we always see on the red carpet, and covet, is Marchessa. The gowns are gorgeous!  Unfortunately Marchessa hasn’t been readily available at budget prices.  They did a few dresses for girls that were sadly out of place in the Target Neiman Marcus Holiday collection. Most Target shoppers just didn’t want a $100.00 Marchessa dress for their little girl.Now JC Penney is bringing a line by Georgina Chapman of Marchesa to stores for Prom. Although the collection was scheduled to launch March 1, it is already online at JC Penney’s website one week early.

The collection is called Pearl and it is’ for young girls/juniors to wear for prom. Pearl features a mix of short and long dresses with Marchesa’s signature romantic elegance coupled with  a young, innocent style.  Pearl clothing prices will range from $50 to $250. Sizes for the Pearl collection range from size 2 to size 14.
