Red Carpet style doesn’t have to cost thousands of dollars.  The days when the studios provided dresses to stars are over, and today, many actresses shop off the rack with the help of a stylist. We spied actress Christina Applegate at the premiere of her movie “Bad Moms” in a burgundy long sleeve lace Rebecca Vallance dress.  Ms. Vallance is well known for her gorgeous lace goddess style dresses.

Lace overlay dresses and tops remain a hot trend for Fall.  You can get  a similar lace dress to the one that Christina Applegate wore for much less than $800.   There’s a similar lace dress with short sleeves on sale now at Vallance’s website for $559 in Silver Blush reduced from $799.  Carmen Marc Valvo’s Infusion lace cocktail dress, currently available at Nordstrom.com for $308 is a great looking lace dress for an even lower price.  And we found even more options on sale at H&M, Dillards, Neiman Marcus and Lord & Taylor.  The lace trend is not going away anytime soon and you can find a lace dress for as low as $19.99 at H&M.
