Labor Day can be a good time to shop, check The Recessionista’s Pick List.

As the American Holiday Labor Day weekend 2013 looms on the horizon, many of you are asking where are the best places to shop over this long holiday weekend? It’s a good question, because typically there are some great price reductions over this holiday weekend.  In fact, website ShopItToMeNow.com reported last year that Labor Day may actually afford better deals than say Black Friday or the day after Christmas (affectionately known as Boxing Day in the UK.) Here’s what’s on The Recessionista’s Labor Day sale pick list for 2013.  If I’ve missed anything, please leave a comment.

Generally, if you’re shopping the Labor Day sales, you should look for at least a 30% reduction in price to be a good deal.  In the past, surveys have soon that there can be savings over 40% off on Labor Day.  And don’t forget those early bird specials if you shop before 1 pm!

Just Fab Prowess Bag

JustFab’s $31.000 Prowess bag, good looking and on trend

JustFab.com:  This online shopping club is a “fast fashion” fix with trendy bags, shoes and accessories for affordable prices.   They recently added Kids fashions too, and there are a lot of cute items for kids.  I recently ordered  a handbag from JustFab.com.  It’s a good looking bag, although I don’t expect it to last forever because it’s made of “Faux Leather Cork” , but it will be cute for fall and the endless California summer.   Approach JustFab as you would Forever21, cute stuff, low prices, not necessarily built to last.   If you’re not a member of JustFab.com, use The Recessionista invite to join.  You’ll receive 20% off your first order.  (Thanks to follow Blogger Baby Shopaholic for introducing me to JustFab at BlogHer13!)
