Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020: Early Access August 13

One of our favorite sales, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for 2020 is just around the corner. This is an early alert to make our readers aware of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale dates for 2020. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the sale is not cancelled, but will start in August this year rather than in July.  The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale officially is open to everyone August 19-30th.  But, savvy shoppers can get in early on August 13, 2020 at 12: 30 pm EST to get the deals before the general public.

So how can you get in early? Get a Nordstrom charge card and enjoy easy access to the  Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. (You need your charge card account to log-in online, and shop in store too!)  With the Nordstrom charge card , you can accumulate fashion rewards, like frequent flyer points, to get special benefits and discounts. And here’s another tip, sign-up for the Nordy Club before the Anniversary Sale and get a $10.00 certificate to shop the sale.

Cardmembers with Icon, Ambassador or Influencer status will get even more time to shop Early Access. The higher your status, the earlier you shop. This is on top of the six days of Early Access all cardmembers get.

Nordy Club Early Access 2020

Nordstrom power shoppers will early early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  Check your status level on your Nordstrom Card Statement to see what date you will be able to access the sale. 

For this year’s sale, put these important dates on your calendar:

  1. Preview the sale on July 24th at Nordstrom.com:  All shoppers will have  the ability to preview all sale items even earlier—starting July 24. This way, you have plenty of time to save your favorites to your Wish List so you can check out faster when it’s time to shop. This preview experience will replace the Nordstrom print catalog this year.
  2. Early Access starts August 13th: All cardmembers can shop Early Access starting August 13—shop even earlier depending on your Nordy Club status.
  3. Sale opens to the public August 19–30. Prices go up August 31. Shoppers can  shop the sale in open stores during normal business hours. Online shopping begins at 9:30am ET/6:30am PT.

Having a Nordstrom Charge Card is the ticket to shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale early.

Here’s how early access works. Nordstrom credit and debit card holders get to shop the sale a week early.  So if you love the quality of items and customer service at Nordstrom like we do, then you’ll want to get prepared now to get the best for less.  Nordstrom cardholders can choose a Personal Triple Points Day to use when they shop the sale.   That means that Nordstrom cardholder can earn more reward points to put towards getting free items at Nordstrom.

The  Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is unique because it provides discounts on items for the coming season–this is not a clearance on past season items.  That means you can get the very latest fashion trends for less.  The  Nordstrom Anniversary Sale offers price reductions on brands for men, women and kids. When the event ends on August 30, 2020, all sale items return to their original prices.
