Matthew Williamson’s Macy’s Impulse Collection Preview Now Online

By  |

Macy’s has just posted the previews of the upcoming Mathew Williamson for Macy’s Impulse collection online.  It’s pretty impressive in my opinion, and you can see the entire collection at macys.com/impulse.  In best social media style, visitors to the Macy’s website can click on the images to vote for their favorites.  I’m loving the vintage looking Boho-chic peasant blouses in chiffon prints, and the banded waist v-neck cocktail dresses in cool, almost impressionistic tones. There are also some great looking one shoulder dresses with jeweled embellishments. One of hottest trends this Spring is the maxi dress, and a maxi from the collection is prominently featured on the collection preview page.  There’s nothing like a strong dose of Matthew Williamson color to wake you up from a dreary winter.  The maxie dresses remind of the 1960s creations that Ossie Clark and Celia Birtwell created so beautifully.  They are lovely, and look very comfortable.  I hope the quality of the garments will be as good as the pictures.

Matthew Williamson was a great choice for a Spring designer for Macy’s and I can’t wait to see this in stores.  For more of what Matthew Williamson has been creating for Spring, Fashion News Live’s post of the Matthew Williamson for Bulgari collection of handbags. They are striking!
