Los Angeles: Topshop Store Opening Feb 14, 2013, Showroom Open Now

I was at the Grove Mall yesterday and couldn’t help but notice the large billboards and signs promoting the new Topshop store.   The store opening has been rushed forward to Feb. 14, 2013!  In the meantime, Topshop has opened a small pop-up shop (see above picture on the right) in West Hollywood on Melrose and Edinburgh.  This store is by appointment only, but is fully transactional and has the new Topshop and TOPMAN collections in stock.

The mint green “Topshop LA Showroom” and is open 10am through 6pm daily. Here’s the tickler. You can’t just walk in and shop. Visits are appointment-only, that means no walk-ins welcome at this point.  My spies tell me that stylists are the one scrambling for appointments for their clients.  To make an appointment, call the showroom at 323-775-3974.

If the appointment only thing doesn’t suit you, then the other option for Topshop aficionados is to hit the store in Nordstroms South Coast Plaza to browse their selections. As for myself , I was lucky enough to stock up on my Topshop on my recent trip to London.  I’ve been wearing my black Topshop tunic & Channel pearls out on the town and loving the look!  My other favorite is the Tee & Cake top with a quote from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream: “The course of true love never did run smooth.”
