Lancôme partners with designer, Alber Elbaz for eye makeup packaging

Are you a sucker for the packaging that your cosmetics come in? Who doesn’t want products that make them feel like they will look gorgeous? If you want to dress your cosmetics to impress, then check out the new packaging dressing up the Lancome show eye products. Alber Elbaz, Lanvin artistic director created stunning, feminine “outfits” to personify Lancôme’s four best-selling mascaras: Doll, Drama, Définicils, and Hypnôse.  It’s savvy marketing on the part of Lancôme to design special packaging to appeal to women who know and love fashion. The collection consists of these beloved mascaras, custom Color Design 5 Shadow & Liner Palettes, and a Lancôme’s very first line of false eyelashes in chic illustrated cases, all with collectable couture exteriors.

The collection is now available at Lancôme counters and lancome.com; the false eyelashes are exclusive to Nordstrom.  Prices are as follows: Mascaras, $29; Palettes, $51; False Lashes, $35.
