Kohl’s Back to School Savings and School Giving Program

By  |

If you haven’t checked out Kohl’s lately, they just stocked in some super stuff for heading back to school this fall. My ten year old niece is in love with their Candie’s Ruffled tops, Mudd separates and Abbey Dawn line.  According to her, no one wears dresses to school anymore, it’s just not cool.  Go figure!  She’s also loving her school backpack and new Speedo swimsuit (good for swim team practice.)  Older kids can also benefit from the fashions and savings.  For those heading to college, check out the ELLE line, Lauren Conrad and the all denim/jeans.

Pictured: This ELLE Maxi dress with the Poppy Print  is a perfect pick for college (or later), on sale for $29.99 US

There are also plenty of items that are great fits for space savings in dorm rooms, like closet organizers, bedding, storage bins, chairs and floor cushions. And who can forget two essential dorm room college essentials: the coffee maker and the popcorn maker.  Be sure and stock up on those, on sale now. I don’t think I could’ve made it through school without those.

Best of all, Kohl’s has developed a contest to give half a million dollars to 20 schools each this year, a total of $10 million. The $10 million donation comes from the Kohl’s Cares cause merchandise program, which sells special merchandise, including plush toys and books, and donates 100 percent of the net profit to benefit children’s health and education initiatives nationwide. See Official Rules at www.facebook.com/kohls  for all program and prizing details. Nothing like a good cause!
