Los Angeles designer Karen Kane is having a 20% off sale of items from her line that are similar to items worn by royal recessionista the Duchess of Cambridge, the former Kate Middleton.  I like designer Kane both for her designs and her business practices. Her designs are made in the USA, many right here in Los Angeles, and she  has helped young designers and students at FIDM (the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) by teaching and participating in last year’s FIDM Debut.

So here’s the 411 on the sale inspired by Kate’s London Looks.  If you like lace overlay styles or wrap dresses, then this is a sale for you.  There’s a scalloped  hemmed lace dress similar to the one Kate wore on her tour of Canada.  There are also some great wrap dresses like the Duchess favors on the sale racks.  To check it out, visit KarenKane.com and us the code ROYAL20 at check out to take 20% off.  I think Kate’s style has been flawless during the Olympics and I love that she is wearing British designers and giving them exposure. Bravo again Kate!  She looks as good in high street fashions as she does in haute couture.
