Holiday Sparkle Skinny Style: Affordable Girlfriends’ Gifts

Today, I made the most amazing discovery at a holiday fashion show. High-end Los Angeles jewelry designer to the stars, Jessica Elliot, has a budget friendly line called Skinny that is gorgeous and just as appealing as her high-end line. Jessica has been a favorite of celebrities and stylists for some time. Her Jessica Elliot line is featured regularly in magazines like In-Style and People Style Watch. The necklaces and bracelets have been worn by Halle Berry and Janet Jackson to name just a few. And now her designs can be worn by The Recessionista too. But not the high-end Jessica Elliot line made of sterling silver, solid gold or 18K Vermeil. Her recessionista friendly line is called Skinny and features more affordable versions of her designs, produced, well, on the “skinny.” Cute, huh? Skinny features faux jewels and crystals that sparkle like the real thing. I snatched up a couple of the bracelets for my girfriend’s gift bags. They’ll light up any holiday party.

Other items you’ll want to get the skinny on include her rings and enamel bracelets. Skinny is sold in hundred of boutiques around the US and via a website. So there is still time to to snatch up a few pieces of this bling for your girlfriends, your mom, your sister, or even yourself. 🙂 If you visit SkinnyStyle.com , be sure and check the sale section. There are some lovely earrings featured for only $20.00.

And give a look to one of the more reasonably priced items on JessicaElliot.com , the key for “keychains.” These replicas of keys from 1904 are finished in either brass or nickel. The keys are cast from original antique skeleton keys made in the 1900’s that Jessica discovered. They sell for a very reasonably priced $35.00. And I love their titles. Check out the “Key to Happiness.”

The keys measure about 4 7/8 inches tall, just tall enough so you won’t be losing them. Other cheeky key titles include, the “Key to Success,” the “Key to My Heart” and perhaps the most sought after, but the most elusive, the “Key to my Bedroom.”

If you’re not done with your Holiday shopping yet, the Skinny Style by Jessica Elliot is a good place to look for some fashionable trinkets for $20.00, $30.00, $45.00 and $50.00.

Stay tuned for announcements on the winners of the Jones New York Wraps and the Kohl’s Gift Card. The “big reveal” is coming up! 🙂
