A Star Studded Giveaway

The contest is to help celebrate the fifth anniversary of Red Carpet Green Dress, founded by actress Suzy Amis Cameron.  Red Carpet Green Dress is all about recycling or reusing fabrics to make elegant gowns suitable to be worn on the Red Carpet. Ms. Cameron has been effective in using her presence at the Academy Awards to promote making more  eco-conscious fashion choices. In the past, the eco-friendly green gowns that Ms. Cameron has worn on the Oscar’s red carpet have been both beautiful and environmentally responsible.  This year,  Ms. Cameron  has teamed up with Previse SkinCare for a  Red Carpet SkinRescue Kit to help further promote the fundraising efforts behind Red Carpet Green Dress.  If you’re in “the Industry”  (aka Hollywood)  the kit can help your skin survive “awards” season.  If you’re not an actress, director, producer or Oscar ceremony attendee who has to get red carpet ready, the kit can help you survive the ravages of the Polar Vortex or  winter weather that can dry your skin out.

In 2009, Suzy Amis Cameron founded the environmentally friendly  dress design contest called Red Carpet Green Dress.  Since  Red Carpet Dresses are usually worn only once, it makes sense to make  these special occasion dresses in a way that ultimately saves fabric and resources.  “I created Red Carpet Green Dress to raise funds for MUSE School CA and also to bring more attention to sustainability,” explains Amis Cameron. “With over 60% of the student body at MUSE on financial aid, it is hugely important that we have companies like Previse SkinCare who understand the importance of getting involved and lending a hand to this and the future generations of children.” MUSE School CA is a non-profit, educational organization in Malibu Canyon, CA, co-founded by Amis Cameron, which inspires and prepares young people to live consciously with themselves, one another and the planet.

So how does Previse Skincare’s Mission align to the Red Carpet Green Dress?  Both make good environmental sense.  Previse SkinCare’s ZeroSilicon  recipes,  are free of harsh preservatives, skin clogging silicones, petroleum and synthetic oils. With a value of $169, the kit retails for $135, a 20% discount, with 10% of sales donated to MUSE School CA. Founder and CEO of Previse SkinCare, Sean Patrick Harrington adds, “Our hope is to raise $20,000 for the MUSE School CA once the kit becomes available on February 1st.”
