Downton Abbey Fashion Obsession: Character Tees

Like many of you, I have become obsessed with the PBS show Downton Abbey. I follow it not only on TV, but on the blogs, in the magazines and of course via Social Media.  Clearly, I am not alone.  According to AdAge, viewer turnout for the Season 3 premiere was massive with an “average audience of 7.9 million, a 96% surge over the season 2 premiere nearly a year ago.”  In an era of special effects movies that are big on action but light on dialogue, how refreshing that an English drawing drama is a hit.  A show about a way of life that included servants has captured everyone’s fancy.  Because Downton Abbey is such a hit, a whole line of merchandise is growing up  around the show.

Wonder T-shirts (the official Downton Abbey licensee( has launched some hilarious Downton Tees with with lines like “Free Bates” and “Do as the Dowager Countess Says.”   Look for the Downton Abbey T-shirts on Amazon.com.
