DKNY’s New Facebook Campaign Features New York Heart & Soul, and Savings too!

By  |

Donna Karan is an American treasure. Her fashions are fantastic. The clothes are designed for comfort and amazing fit, whether you buy DKNY or Donna Karan. For those of us who are fans of her New York Heart and Soul fashions (remember her NY Fashion Week show in February), Donna has launched a new ad campaign.  The campaign is a lovely bouquet to the city of New York.  As with the Cozy video, street life plays an important role in the new ads. You can see the new ad campaign posted on the wall  of the newly enhanced DKNY Facebook group, in the photo tab. Just look at the pictures of the Yellow Cabs on the streets of Manhattan above from the DKNY Facebook contest. The other cool thing about this campaign is its use of social media.  The ads prominently feature DKNY’s Facebook community and her Twitter ID.  If you are not already following DKNY on Twitter, and you love fashion, check it out! DKNY on Twitter offers the fresh and witty perspectives of the PR Girl behind the scenes.   When you read her Tweets, you are getting the real, uncensored scoop on how things work within the business of fashion. For me, the Twitter community is one of the strongest assets the DKNY brand has.  DKNY has over 136,000 followers and growing. The brand’s  DKNY Facebook community also offers fantastic updates on what the design house is doing, plus…wait for it., one of my favorite things: savings.   Regular coupon codes are featured.  Right now, if you are a Facebook fan and you LIKE DKNY on Facebook (or a reader here), use code FACEBK15 to save 15% until August 31st (US only.)

Facebook readers are also invited to express their own New York Heart and Soul, by uploading their favorite pictures of New York to share with the group.  If I have time when I am in New York at the BlogHer conference I will try to snap some of my own pictures for the DKNY Facebook group with my new Olympus PEN camera.  One of the highlights for me of BlogHer will be visiting the NYC Garment District with Shop at Home to see where DKNY is made in New York,  NY. In the meantime, I’ll be double dipping on DKNY savings by visiting her sale page and using my Facebook coupon.  Check out this cute DKNY dress for summer.
