A scene from the new David Beckham H&M commercials set to premiere during Superbowl

H&M is gearing up for their Superbowl commercial spots featuring David Beckham with teaser previews for the commercial and a live appearance of Beckham at the new H&M Times Square Store.  As I previously shared,  H&M is launching  a new David Beckham Bodywear campaign using commercials and shopping technology that will premiere during the Superbowl campaign. Today H&M shared previews of the commercial with us and behind the scenes video.  If you like a look at Beckham’s crazy good physique, you’ll want to see these.

The premise for the commercials is that David is accidentally locked out of a photo shoot on a rooftop wearing only his underwear.  With no way down, he goes to great lengths to find a way back inside, performing all his own stunts in the process. Like a scantily clad 007, fans will see Beckham zipline across rooftops, scale buildings and navigate tricky obstacles all in his signature briefs in James Bond super agent mode.  The superhero type commercials are directed the talented Nicolas Winding Refn. The commercial culminates in one of two unexpected ways – with David either “#Covered” or “#Uncovered.  Naturally, I think most women will prefer to see Mr. Beckham uncovered. 🙂  Watch the preview about here, and then vote on HM.com about whether you’d like to see Beckham covered or uncovered.   I bet I can guess how you’re going to vote!

If you’re in New York on Feb. 1, you can see Mr. Beckham in person at the H&M Times Square.   Beckham will appear Feb. 1 at the H&M Times Square store to meet the first 200 people in line.  Fans are also invited to visit the store from Jan. 29 to Feb. 2. Visitors to the H&M Times Square store during those dates can  “Kick to Win” exciting prizes with H&M’s “Digital Field Goal.” competition.
