Target’s new Cat & Jack kids collection is designed to compete with leading kids fashion retailers.

This week Target is launching Cat & Jack, a playful new line of children’s clothing. This distinct collection is only available at Target. Our spies tell us this is Target’s biggest ever private-label brand launch.   Interesting…bigger that Mossimo? Isaac & Merona?  According to Target, the line is based on input from kids.   According to Business Insider, Bloomberg says Target conducted research with over 1,000 kids via focus groups and online to come up with concepts for Cat & Jack.  Much of Cat & Jack looks at trendy as adult fashions, for example the fringed booties in the above photo.

Target says that Cat  & Jack consist of 2,000 pieces that offer a 1-year guarantee.  Clearly this collection is no Kardashian Kids. The images from Target’s website look cute, but I haven’t seen this yet at a Target store.  If you’re looking to save a little, on Cat & Jack, here’s a deal. Target  are offering $5 off when you spend $25 or more on Cat & Jack, from July 24-30.2016.
