American Express Features Deals on Lord & Taylor and H&M in the Link, Love, Like Launch

By  |

Today’s “Link, Like Love” launch from American Express and Facebook, enabling couponless deals features deals from fashionable retailers like Lord & Taylor and H&M.  It’s a good time to shop at H&M as their summer clearance is still going on, and the lure of the American Express discount offers  further savings.

In case you haven’t heard, the new “Link, Like, Love” allows cardmembers who link their Facebook profiles to their cards to “load” and seamlessly redeem merchant specials nationwide, without the need for coupons or special codes.  You can sign up at http://link.americanexpress.com.

Warning: Traffic on this site has been so high, that the Facebook application is now kaput.  Seems many consumers were more than willing to let American Express and Facebook access their personal information, in exchange for the promise of savings.  Obviously, consumers continue to respond to the lure of savings, without even knowing how deep the discounts might be.  I wonder what Groupon thinks of this move from American Express and the big launch?
