Target will be offering lots of plaid throughout their stores this fall–and not just on apparel.

If you are mad for plaid, then here’s some good news for you. Target has announced a new Adam Lippes for Target collection that will feature apparel,  plaid Diet Coke bottles, shampoo bottles, ChapStick tubes, dog leashes, Band-Aids, paper towels and more.  According to Target, designer Adam Lippes has been tapped to create more than 50 items inspired by buffalo plaid for the Adam Lippes for Target collection of apparel, accessories, pet goods and home furnishings.   As a former Catholic school girl who was forced to wear plaid, I don’t find this announcement that exciting, but I will wait to see the whole thing on the racks this fall before I judge.  Look for the collection in select Target stores this August through October. Prices  for the collection will range from $1.99-$179.99.  Ok, what could possibly be $179.99 in this lot? This ain’t Burberry!
