The free Shopular app and website offers coupon savings and special offers.

Who is not interested in finding extra savings on fashion?  Why pay retail prices if you don’t have to when the savings are available?  You just need to know where to look for the deals. If you read here, you know I am always on a search to find the best for less.  Enter my newest savings secret weapon: Shopular.  With just a week to go until Mother’s Day, plus a few special events coming up, I’ve had to do a little shopping.  But where to go?  Shopular made deciding where to do my shopping easy. Here’s some of the shopping deals I found using the app and a little bit about how it works.

So what is Shopular? Shopular is a mobile app and a website that feature coupons as well as deals (special promotions.)  The deals in Shopular let you know what the stores are running as “specials” that don’t require a special coupon.  Even more convenient, the Shopular app has “geo location targeting” built in.  That means you can see what deals are close to your home or within easy distance.  Living in a city like Los Angeles, where going just a few short miles can take an hour, being able to see at a glance where the savings are is a big benefit.   Ask any shopper, in the words of Forrester Group analyst Julie Ask, everyone wants the convenience of knowing what is “nearby me.”   The geo targeting feature also means deals can be pushed to you, so you get a notification as soon as you walk into a store. That saves you from splurging on more expensive items.

So what deals have I found on Shopular that you should try?  I got a fantastic deal on a great spring floral print dress at H&M.  With Shopular, I was able to save 20% on a dress for an upcoming events.  Use can use the H&M coupons on Shopular to get something special from the gorgeous and eco-friendly new Conscious Collection.  There are also some amazing deals at Michael Kors available until May 10th.  You can receive free jewelry at Michael Kors with the purchase of a watch.

For Mom, I searched to see where I could find good deals on Mother’s Day gifts.  I found out that Macy’s Friends and Family sale is on offering savings up to 25% .  I love Macy’s and with a special like that you can shop for virtually anything for Mom from housewares to handbags.

Shopping for Milly for Kohl’s with my coupon from Shopular to save $10.00.

Kohl’s also has a fantastic coupon to save $10.00 on any item over $50.00.  Of course, I had to use that coupon on myself to get the jumpsuit I’ve been wanting from the Milly for Kohl’s collection.  The jumpsuit was on sale for 30% off, bringing the price to $54.00, so I used the Shopular coupon to save another $10.00.

Longoria JCP

Actress Eva Longoria shows off her new bedding collection at JCPenney. Save 15% with a Shopular coupon on the collection.

If Mom likes handbags, then check out the Buy One Get One (BOGO) for 50% off coupon on handbags at Target this week.  They’ got some great bags that remind me of more expensive bags from designers like Kate Spade.

Kohl’s, JCPenney, Sephora , Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus all have coupons on Shopular.   The app is updated daily from store circulars, saving you time clipping coupons or bookmarking websites.  Overall, I found Shopular easy to use and a great time saver.  If you check it out, leave a comment and let me know your thoughts!
