belif True Cream Moisturizing Bomb

The top moisturizing skincare brand from Korea, belif is now available at Sephora. I recently received samples of belif moisturizers and have been using them for a few weeks. I can see why the products are so popular. They are light, organic and deeply hydrating for your skin.   If you have been to Sephora this month,  you may have seen belif’s spartan black and white packaged skincare products on the shelves.  I’ve been using two of belief’s products for that last 5 weeks, and I love the results. I hydrate in the mornings with the Hungarian Essence water followed by  the rich blue True Cream Aqua Bomb.  The products are organic, dermatologically tested and cruelty-free.  Best of all the products are free of Parabens,- Sulfates and Phthalates The Hungarian Essence water is based on the famous beauty regime of Queen Elizabeth of Hungary.  After using both products over the last few weeks, I highly recommend them.  Here’s why.

belief’s Hungarian Essence Water ($42.00) is based on the herbal beauty remedy used by Queen Elizabeth of Hungary

The True Cream Aqua Bomb (priced at $38.00 US) is a lightweight, blue, rich gel that offers deep  hydration  and  moisturizing. The formula is classified as a “bounce bomb,” which is very popular in Korea. One of the ingredients is the herb Lady’s Mantle — a soothing and moisturizing extract — that was used in medieval Europe to help keep women’s skin supple and clear, according to belif.  I don’t know about the effectiveness about Lady’s Mantle, but I like cooling feel of this gel in the morning. It’s the perfect, gentle “wake-up” skin regime in the morning.  The True Cream Aqua Bomb absorbs nicely, and gives your skin a deep dose of moisturizer , helping to prevent flaking and cracking (common occurrences during winter or hot summer months.)  If you try this, be sure to use it on your neck as well as your face.

Before I apply the True Cream Aqua Bomb , I massage a few pumps of the  belif Hungarian Essence water to my  skin and decolletage.  This unique formulation is a blend of 10 different herbs including Rosemary and Gotu Kola.  The Essence water is very gentle and light.  It’s completely clear.   The serum is absorbed quickly, and while you can also use it at night, I like it in the morning after cleansing the skin.  It feels like a good way to prepare the skin for the day ahead including drying sun, dehydrating coffee and of course makeup.

If you’re looking for some clean, naturally based skincare, be sure to check out belief.  After trying it, I can understand why the products have been top sellers in Korea and have been selling out at Sephora.
