Shopping site Net-a-Porter has teamed up with Levis to offer an update on the 501 Jeans classic

Fashion always bring together unlikely partners. The pair of designer website Net-a-Porter and Levis is no exception. Net-a-Porter is now offering an exclusive collection of Levis 501 jeans on their website for $380.00 per pair. What’s so special about these jeans? The Net-a-Porter  501 CT distressed mid-rise straight-leg jeans are handcrafted for 72 hours in San Francisco, using Cone Mills’ White Oak selvedge denim sourced from North Carolina. Cut for a straight leg, the jeans have all  the classic elements of Levis 501s including the  worn-in feel with a slashed knee.  And just like a designer hand bag, each pair has a handwritten serial number inside.  The jeans also have a Eureka “E” on the inside pocket and on the bottoms to show their exclusivity. What do you think readers? Would you pay $380.00 for a pair of Levis 501 jeans? Looks like many people would,  one pair is already sold out on the Net-a-Porter website.
