Three gorgeous dresses from the forthcoming Lela Rose for Lane Bryant collection

Lane Bryant has released the lookbook from their upcoming Lela Rose for Lane Bryant collection and the dresses are gorgeous. There are plenty of Lela Rose’s definitive prints and feminine touches in this plus-sized (I hate that term, don’t you?) collection.  Based on the images I’ve seen, this is collection is a going to be a hit.    I wish it would be sold in all sizes so that everyone could enjoy it.  The limited-edition line collection for the special-sized retailer is set to hit stores Summer 2015, and will be sold under the Lela Rose Exclusively for Lane Bryant label.  I’m sure the line will be sold for less than Lela Rose’s RTW line.

Stylish tops with sleeves are part of the Lela Rose for Lane Bryant collection.

“I am thrilled to be working with Lane Bryant on this collaboration. Designing apparel women can feel confident and beautiful in has been a long-standing pillar of the Lela Rose brand, and we are looking forward to bringing our designs to Lane Bryant’s inspiring base of customers.” says Designer Lela Rose.  Previously, Ms. Rose collaborated on a lower-priced collection with the LOFT and was part of the ill-fated Target Neiman Marcus Holiday collection.

The collection features sleeves on most of the garments, a request from Lane Bryant customers.  Ms. Rose told Fashionista, “I asked the Lane Bryant team to give me some things their customer will do or won’t do, and all they really said was, ‘Our customer loves sleeves if you can offer that,'” she says. “I was like, oh my gosh, that’s all I hear from our retailers — ‘We want sleeves.'”

For more images from the collection and a rave review, check out the Curvy Fashionista Marie Denee’s enthusiastic take on this collection. Lela Rose for Lane Bryant will be available in in sizes 14-28.   For other sizes, look for Lela Rose at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Shopbop.
