The charming CMO of Burberry, Christopher Bailey was on hand tonight in Beverly Hills to accept the Rodeo Walk of Style. As a part of the induction ceremony on Rodeo Drive, Burberry was honored with a permanent bronze plaque in the sidewalk of the world-renowned street featuring the Burberry core values, ‘Protect. Inaugurated in 2003, the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style® Award has been presented to many notable figures in the fashion community with recipients including Giorgio Armani, Tom Ford, Gianni and Donatella Versace, amongst others.  Burberry was the twenty-second honoree.

Founded in 1856, Burberry is a global luxury brand with a distinctive British identity.  Over the decades, the brand has built a reputation for craftsmanship, innovation and design.  Since the invention of gabardine by Thomas Burberry 135 years ago, outerwear has been at the core of the business, including the iconic Burberry trench coat.   The timing of the award couldn’t be better, just in time for shopping in Beverly Hills where the new Burberry store is located.

The new Beverly Hills Burberry  flagship store brings every aspect of the brand to life in the heart of Los Angeles.  The store was made for luxury shoppers in Beverly Hills. Located over four floors on one of the most iconic streets in the world, the new flagship is set on the corner of Rodeo Drive and Dayton Way. Burberry Beverly Hills has been designed to offer multi-sensory experiences for Los Angeles’ customers and communities, featuring exclusive spaces, products and services. The store comprises a mixture of event space, entertainment hub, private space and store.
