Kohl’s YES2YOU rewards program offers customers the opportunity to get perks for shopping.

Shopping at Kohl’s just got a little bit sweeter with Kohl’s Yes2You Rewards program.  Kohl’s has announced the shopping equivalent of  a Kohl’s frequent flyer program.  If you sign up for the program, then you will earn points every time you shop at Kohl’s. With the holidays coming in just a few short months, this is a great way to extend your buying power.  I signed up for Kohl’s Yes2You Rewards awhile ago, and every time I shop I earn points that accumulate to gift certificate rewards for shopping.   Recently Kohl’s sent me a $250.00 gift card to go shopping and earn some rewards.  But here’s what’s really cool.  They are also offering one of my readers the chance to also win a $250.00 gift card to shop at Kohl’s.  Read on to find out what I bought at Kohl’s and to enter the giveaway to win your own $250.00 shopping trip.

If you’re a Kohl’s shopper you know that there is SO much you can do with $250.00 in shopping money.  That’s because card holders get money coupons offering up to 30% off in savings.   Then there is the chance to earn Kohl’s cash when you shop, and you can apply that cash to you purchased.  And now there is the Yes2You Rewards.  Last month I earned a $10.00 savings certificate for compiling points by shopping at Kohl’s (yes, I spend my own money when I shop there many times, our whole family shops at Kohl’s.)

Here’s how it works.  Enroll in Yes2You Rewards and you’ll earn 1 point for every dollar spent (no matter how you pay!), and get a $5 reward for every 100 points. Plus, you’ll get eight savings offers every year, guaranteed, plus a special birthday gift, opportunities to earn bonus points and so much more.  Kohl’s even promises their customers some surprises, including a birthday gift,  along the way. You can sign-up for the rewards online, at a Kohl’s store or from the Kohl’s mobile app.  Once you start shopping, if you’re online, you can even see how many points your are earning with each purchase.

So here’s how I splurged with my $250.00 Kohl’s gift card.  A little fashion, a little tech and a little Food Network is how it worked out.

First up, I splurged on an Elie Tahari Kohl’s dress, the  Elie Tahari for DesigNation Mixed-Media Body Con Sheath Dress.   This is a gorgeous dress for stepping out on the town or for the office.

Then since I’m trying to focus on my health, I got a Fitbit Flex for $99.00  to track my fitness activities and even my sleep patterns.    And what better to go with a Fitbit than Vera Wang’s new line of workout/fitness gear at Kohl’s, the Simply Breathe line.   I treated myself to some Yoga Leggings for exercise.

Finally, I spurged on a Nutri-Bullet for juicing and making great protein shakes.  I bought all the various energy boosting powders too, which Kohl’s sells.  Now that’s some good shopping.   Lots of great things at great prices.  I’m still thinking about getting  a Juicy Couture bag…it’s very tempting!

So how would you like to go shopping at Kohl’s with $250.00 in your pocket? How sweet is that offer.   All you need to do to enter to win the gift card is to tell me how you say YES to Kohl’s, or what you love about Kohl’s.  Leave a comment here on The Recessionista, and you’ll be entered.  Then you can get additional entries by joining The Recessionista’s social communities. This giveaway is open until 11:59 pm on Oct. 18th. Use the widget below to enter to win your shopping spree!  Good luck darlings!
