Every season the savvy marketing folks at TOPSHOP plan a social media blitzkrieg around their London Fashion Week show.  While the folks  who run Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York continue to cut show attendance and ban bloggers from New York Fashion Week, TOPSHOP looks for ways to be socially inclusive with their audience and bloggers.   For London Fashion Week Spring /Summer 15,  INSTAGRAM community will be at the heart of the show experience.

It’s not a surprise that as INSTAGRAM’s popularity continues to explode, TOPSHOP will use this key social platform to reach their young audience of consumers.  Five INSTAGRAMMERS have been handpicked to curate and populate TOPSHOP channels throughout London Fashion Week. Chosen for their distinctive and diverse styles, their content will feed directly to TOPSHOP.com providing alternate viewpoints for the online audience and elevating the influence of social narrators in a way that hasn’t been used at other fashion shows. INSTAGRAM users from around the world can use the hashtag #TOPSHOPWINDOW to become part of the experience and feature in the window of TOPSHOP’s iconic flagship store in London’s Oxford Circus.

The TOPSHOP SS15 show will stream live on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 3 pm GMT.   Immediately after the show, a few of the looks will be available at TOPSHOP’s Oxford St. show for immediate sale.   That seems to say that the fashions seasons are all really merging together, doesn’t it?
