Target Announces Black Friday in July over 3 Weekends

Target Black Friday July

Target’s Black Friday in July  sale seems designed to lure in Millenials and college students.

Target is imploring customers to shop like it’s Black Friday, in July instead of after Thanksgiving.  Will it work? I don’t know, but it’s an interesting tactic.    Every Friday & Saturday in July, Target will be having a Black Friday sale.  So July 18 & 19 and July 25 & 26 there will be sales.  Our best guess is that the next two Target Black Friday weekends will focus on home and electronics.  If you’re going back to school or furnishing a dorm room, that could be good news.

July 18-19 Black Friday Sale

Target’s second July Black Friday weekend focuses on the home, with deals on bedding, towels, rugs and more.  According to Brad’s Deals there will be specials on vacuums, swimwear, Nespresso and  & more.

There are also gift card incentives to get customers shopping.  You’ll earn a  a free $15 gift card when you spend $75 on college bedding, bath and decor PLUS  you can score $10 off your $50 purchase with promo code COLLEGE when you create a college registry. That’s a good marketing deal from the Target team.

July 25-26 Black Friday Sale

Target Black Friday Electronics 2014Based on the graphics on the Target website to promote Target’s Black Friday in July,  this weekend will be about electronics. The image shows a  Samsung television, Beats by Dre headphones, a strangely placed LEGO Lone Ranger figure, and a vacuum.  Go figure right?   I was at Target tonight to pick up some stuff and I sense a big-arse TV sale is coming soon. Just a hunch.

Clothing an apparel doesn’t seem to a big part of the next two sale dates, but my Target is having a huge shoe clearance in store and lots of Mossimo and Merona are on the sales racks.

Online and in store, the best deal on fashion at Target is the Converse One Star clearance featuring casual apparel, shoes and swimsuits.
