Entertainer Ellen De Generes is a celebrity most Americans love and would want to invite into their home.   And now they just might get the chance with Ellen announcing plans for a new “lifestyle collection.”   Ellen is partner with Chris Burch and C Wonder to bring the collection to market.   The collection will be called “E.D.” , a new  collection designed by Ms. DeGeneres. E.D. will offer an array of product categories  including home, ready-to-wear, accessories, and pets. First to launch will be a  capsule collection of direct-to-consumer home items for Holiday 2014 followed by a full collection launch at retail for Spring 2015.

Watch this space.  We’ll post more details as they evolve.   The products will be sold over the Internet via a website.  The product will be available through wholesale and retail channels, as well as direct to consumer.  Could that mean Target?  I could see it.
