French Chic: Inès De La Fressange at UNIQLO

 Inès de la Fressange

French model and designer Inès de la Fressange models dresses from her UNIQLO line.

If you haven’t heard about Parisian designer Inès de la Fressange’s collection at UNIQLO, you  will want to head to a UNIQLO near you.  The designer/model has turned out a great looking collaboration with UNIQLO with wrap dresses, sweaters, jackets and even coats.  The styles are paired down and simple.  My favorite is the striking midi “IDLF jersey” wrap dress for $29.99.   The printed lawn shirt dresses are also very charming and well priced at $49.90.  Early reviews from UNIQLO shoppers are very favorable on this collection.  It sounds like some of the dresses run long, but it’s easy to hem them to make it work if the rest of the fit is good.  Another plus on this collection is it’s very professional, you can wear the dresses to work.  It’s great to see a a stunning and stylish 50 something year old women modeling and designing such a well-priced fashion collaboration. More UNIQLO stores are steadily opening around the US with a new Southern California store scheduled to open this fall in South Coast Plaza.
