Isabel Marant models a dress from her forthcoming H&M Collab photo via H&M Twitter

Twitter is the new telegraph and electronic press release, especially in the fashion world. So what better way for H&M to promote their upcoming collaboration with Isabel Marant, than by sending out a preview via Twitter.  The picture was not a professional model wearing a garment for the collection, but surprisingly the designer herself trying on one of the dresses, then checking out her reflection in the mirror.  It’s no glamour shot, but rather a piece of digital storytelling showing the designer actively involved in the creation of her H&M line. What do you think readers? Do you like the dress or do you think it’s needs a bit more staging via  a professional model in full hair & make-up?  In the photo, Ms. Marant is modeling a a black and white print dress and tasseled boots both from her H&M collection.
