The Inauguration is tomorrow and speculation runs rampant about what designer/designers Michelle Obama will wear.  All we know for sure at this time is that she’s got a new do.  The First Lady is now rocking bangs. She wore them proudly for the President’s private swearing in morning in the Blue Room of the White House.  Fittingly, Michelle wore a blue dress this morning to match the blue room. Her dress for the private swearing in was a royal blue dress by American designer Reed Krakof.  First Daughter Sasha Obama wore the Mariposa Lace Dress in Plum from plenty by Tracy Reese made exclusively for Anthropologie.  The dress retails for approximately $70.00 at Anthropologie.com. I haven’t found Mailia’s dress yet, but if I find it I will let you know.

How did we find out about Michelle’s new hair? Well Twitter of course! A picture was officially posted on Thursday from new Twitter account FLOTUS run by the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama .  Most of the Tweeps gave Michelle’s hair a big thumbs up.

According to Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) Marchesa, Michael Kors, and Prabal Gurung have reportedly all been tapped to send dress options for Michelle Obama to wear at President Obama’s inauguration next week. I’m guessing Jason Wu and Tracy Reese also sent sample for the divine Mrs. O to wear.  Another possible First Lady Inaugural dress designer could be Peter Som.  Som recently canceled his New York Fashion Week show.   There’s been a lot of speculation on why that cancellation happened.  “Could his choice to scale down be due to that fact that he’s dedicating most of his efforts to creating the perfect gown for Michelle Obama?” asks Glam on their blog?

Four years ago, Michelle Obama choose relatively unknown designers Isabel Toledo and Jason Wu.  By picking them, she bought them to International attention and put them on fashion magaizine’s  front pages.  We’re all waiting to she who see picks in 2013.  What do you think readers? Any ideas?
