Fashions from the People’s Choice Awards 2013

Emma Watson, aka Hermione from the Harry Potter films, stepped out on the red carpet at the People’s Choice Award wearing what looks like about 1 yard of fabric with cut-outs on it.   Ms. Watson is only 22 years old. She’s adorable. She has a great figure.  So why go out in this? I think this dress is nothing but a hot mess.  I’ve talked to some who attended the awards in Los Angeles last night and they tell me that it was.   Apparently, it looked even worse in person that it did in photos due to the hodgepodge of colors and prints.  Emma darling, you used to look so fabulous in your Chanel. What happened? Who did this to you?  The designer of the dress is Peter Pilotto, but who is the stylist who choose this? You deserve better!!

Taylor Swift on the red carpet at the People’s Choice Awards

In contrast to Emma’s short dress (waitresses at Sur wear more fabric) Taylor Swift showed up looking every inch the glamour A-lister in a  Ralph Lauren white dress with a rather plunging necklace.  Despite the plunge, it was clear that more than 1 yard of fabric was used.   I think that’s a good thing. Especially when you have cameras all around you taking pictures from every angle.
