Help the Red Cross Help Hurricane Harvey Victims

By  |

With the major storm know as Hurricane Harvey now battering Texas, it seems trite to talk about sales or fashion. What I want to post about, and remind everyone about, is that the American Red Cross is here to help people affected by the storm.   To find a Red Cross shelter, you can download the Red Cross Hurricane app, visit the Red Cross web site or  call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767.)   If you prefer texting you can text the word HARVEY to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

People can also register on the Red Cross Safe and Well website, a secure and easy-to-use online tool that helps families connect during emergencies. To register, go to www.redcross.org.   I’m hoping all my dear readers are safe. I have already sent along a donation to the Red Cross to help those affected.
