One of my favorite looks last night at the Emmys in Los Angeles last night was Revenge star Emily VanCamp in her gorgeous silver J. Mendel Chiffon dress and simple bow bracelet. I was captivated by that bracelet. I have since learned (via copious research) that it was from Van Cleef & Arpels and was made of real diamonds. Naturally, I have set about finding a similar item that doesn’t cost thousands.

Another cute little piece of costume jewelry that is similar is Carolee’s Bow Pin which sells for $55.00. What do you think readers? I love bows as an accent. I think they can be too much if done on more than one piece or if not combined with something a little less feminine, but otherwise I love a cute bow detail. I have a tiffany bow necklace that I adore and get complements on all the time.
