Lucky Fabb Find: Paige Denim and Zappos

One of the best things about the recent Lucky Fabb conference held here in Los Angeles this week was the opportunity to hear from designers about their vision, style and inspirations. That’s why I was so excited to see Paige Denim founder on hand at the conference.  Paige Denim is a Los Angeles based brand launched by former fit model Paige Adams-Geller in 2004.  As a former fit model, Paige designed the jeans for contour and shape, paying particular attention to a comfortable waistband and stylish, forward sitting side seams. Once considered casual clothing, Paige Denim is one of the brands in the last decade that has elevated jeans to a status fashion item, akin to a luxury handbag. The jeans are sold at upscale retailers like Nordstrom. Bergdorf-Goodman, and in the UK Harvey Nichols.  Besides their distinctive cut, the jeans are known for their use of color and floral prints.

 Think of Liberty meets denim, and that’s just how a pair of Paige Denim floral jeans looks. For Summer 2012, Paige Denim has partnered with Liberty of London for a collection will be available exclusively at Liberty in the United Kingdom, at paigeusa.com. As a Liberty of London lover, I’m thrilled about this collaboration and wish more buyers were aware of it.

Of course, one of the great things about a conference sponsored by Lucky Magazine, is learning where to find deals. So where can you pick up a chic pair of Paige Denim jeans? Elementary my dear recessionistas, Zappos.com. Zappos was in full force at the Lucky Fabb conference showing an array of shoes, handbags and dresses all sold on their ecommerce site.  Fashionable website Zappos is selling many of the jeans for well under the $200+ retail price page.  Both mens & womens jeans and shorts in the Paige line, in colors, solids and prints are offered on sale in a price range of approximately $125.00 US to $165.00 US.  So, if you like Paige Denim, look for the brand and save at Zappos.  For more deals on Paige Denim, check out their Facebook page.
