| Pictured: My new love, the Cosbar for Target Cooling Eye Mask– it works! |
Last week I checked out the Cosbar for Target goodies. I wasn’t sure what to think, since there weren’t any samples and the display wasn’t that appealing. The one item I did decide to try was the little cooling eye masks for $6.00. I’ve now tried it, and I have to say this is worth the small investment, especially if you work on a computer all day and your eyes get dried out and tired. I have tried the eye mask straight out of the box, and I’ve tried it after about 30 minutes chilling it in the fridge. It is both calming and revitalizing. The real trick of course is to take a break and get off the computer or the iPad for awhile to rest your eyes. These little eye masks help you do that. When you go to the spa, sometimes they put cucumber on your eyes to achieve this soothing effect, but we don’t always have those handy at home when we are exhausted and our eyes need to reboot. The Cosbar eye mask does the trick and it will never spoil. I suspect it’s just some gelatin pumped into a plastic pouch, but it works and for $6.00 it’s much more budget-friendly than a spa. If you check it out, let me know what you think. I’ll be packing these in my suit case for my next red eye flight!

I tried the body butter and the purple nail polish, both were okay. The Halloween-style packaging kinda turns me off but this mask sounds divine, I'll have to give it another look!
