Alberta Ferretti for Macy’s: On the Clearance Rack in the Stores

I stopped by my local Macy’s store tonight to run an errand and to my surprise discovered that the Alberta Ferretti Impulse collection is on clearance at the stores.  It is not yet on clearance online, although some items are reduced.  I got the above dress for the clearance price (using coupons and my Macy’s charge) for a total of $29.99!  I was shocked.   The clearance price was 65% off the retail price of $99.99.  That’s not bad!  It’s a beautiful dress. I was surprised to see that there wasn’t that much of the collection left on the racks, so if you are planning to shop over the Memorial Day week, check out the clearance racks in the Macy’s Impulse collection.  Based on what I saw, the Alberta Ferretti collection sold well for Macy’s but they are moving it out of stock to make way to for the next collection, their Fashion Star line and other new designers.

If you’re looking for a dress for a special evening out, check out the one-shoulder dress (above) in tangerine.  At my local store it was also 65% off of the retail price.  As far as sizing, the maxi dresses in the collection seem to be Misses sized, while some of the shorter cocktail dresses look more like Juniors sizes.  So choose carefully, as I don’t think the sizing is uniform.  But the colors and styles are gorgeous and for the clearance prices, grab a deal on a great designer.
