Hot off the press, both Women’s Wear Daily and the Huffington Post report that  Calvin Klein  is set to do a  Macy’s Capsule Collection.   I think this is great news for Calvin Klein, but is it great news for Macy’s? I’m not sure.  I already buy plenty of affordable Calvin Klein at stores like TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Ross Dress for Less, so I’m not sure how Macy’s can figure into this with an exclusive well priced offering that is a must have.  I’ll look forward to seeing the sketches and the prices of course!  According to fashion bible WWD, Macy’s “announced today that Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein will kick off Macy’s spring promotion, “A Magical Journey to Brasil” with dresses retailing from $135 to $185.”   The collection is due in stores May 15th.
