In an effort to ameliorate some of the customer bad will created by the Jason Wu for Target sellout and website problems, Target just posted a special
Jason Wu Target dress for Facebook friends. This looks like something right out of the preppy handbook, and let me just say, I think there are cuter, better dresses for $39.99. However, since so many of my dear readers are feeling like they missed out, I want to give you the inside scoop on this. If you want it, get it before the eBay vultures do their profiteering, er plundering and try to resell if for 3-4 times the retail price.

I did resort to eBay during my Missoni obsession- because of the instant sell-out at Target- but I *refuse* to do so with the Jason Wu collection. Yea for those who have started a FB page- innovative and excellent idea! I love your blog and follow it often! Keep up the great work.

This is being referred to on TargetStyle on Facebook as "the ugly dress". However, this same dress is in the February issue of Vogue (page 223) on Alexa Chung. I think it comes down to styling and do you like the pattern. If you wear it as is, it could look a little Marion the librarian.
Isn't this basically the same exact dress as the black/white bicycle dress, only in navy/white? If so, it's a stretch for Target to call it an "exclusive style", as it's the same dress just in a different color combo!

Target Addict, it's not the EXACT same dress as the black/white bicycle dress. It's the same pattern, but has a polo collar and buttons down the front. But you are right. It's very similar!
The 'fugly' comments made me laugh ;) I agree, as some the styles we fugly on me, and some them were abosoulety adorable! The dress (not this one, lol!) and a blouse I thought for certain I would return fit really cute, and the striped dress I loved looked awful - it went back yesterday! (I would have participated in this site had I seen this post yesterday! always a day late!)
