Ok, I can understand that David’s Bridal wants to go ahead with their marketing and merchandising plans since I’m sure they have made a huge investment here, but…does the public really want the replicas of Kim’s dresses? Most of the Internet polls on this very important topic (not), and Tweets sent this week, indicate that the public is, to put is mildly, disenchanted with the Kardashian wedding PR blitz and profiteering.
I love Vera Wang, but I think this one is going to hit the sales racks followed by the clearance racks. The dress is tainted. So far, the majority of readers in the The Huffington Post poll say that they would not want a copy of the dress. And for $1,500, that copy is no bargain. Personally, I am tired of the Kardashian fashion blitzkrieg. The Kollection at Sears is tacky. Most of the QVC stuff is too highly priced for the quality of what is is. Save your money readers. Team Kardashian doesn’t need your hard earned dollars, and in my humble opinion, there are better quality clothes to be found.

The dress is cursed for sure! Of course, if you can get past that, then some brides will score a real deal when this dress heads to the clearance rack
Speaking of wedding dresses, I'm surprised you haven't written about the demise of Filene's Basement. It was all over the news last week; no more “running of the brides!”. Sad, but I guess they just couldn't compete anymore with other discount retailers like TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack.
I think it was 72 days, not 72 hours.
Thanks Evelyn! It was days, and I made the change.
Target Addict, I was at BlogWorld, missed the Filene's story.
