South Coast Plaza Style: Best of Beauty Event this Weekend

By  |

If you live in Southern California, this weekend just might be the right time to upgrade your beauty routine or restock your make-up. Having a great fall look means combining the best of fashion with the best of make-up.  At South Coast Plaza, you can do both.  From Sept. 30th to Oct. 2nd, it’s a big beauty weekend at South Coast Plaza.

Some of you may know South Coast Plaza (SCP) as the mecca for high end retailers and  exclusive beauty stores. SCP it is all about luxury for sure. Think of Rodeo Drive inside a shopping mall, and you get the idea of South Coast Plaza. However, this weekend, luxury meets value at South Coast Plaza, with a series of great deals on beauty products for savvy shoppers.  That’s why I’m letting my readers know about the deals with a listing tailor made for The Recessionista!

For three days, SCP is celebrating the very best in beauty with “fantastic promotions, tips and gifts from some of our favorite beauty boutiques and counters, from Saks to Kiehl’s, Fresh, Origins, Sephora and many more.”

The event kicks off on Friday, September 30th with the unveiling of the North American launch of M.A.C’s Posh Paradise exhibit. Inspired by Lady Gaga’s stylist, Nicola Formichetti, (who styled the fall campaign), it features fashions capturing the lush, tropical color palette of the Posh Paradise collection. Think Resort colors, and that will put you in the right frame of mind for  Posh Paradise.  The Posh Paradise exhibit is exclusive to South Coast Plaza. The boutique will feature 60 of the best M·A·C artists from around North America to offer intimate make-up experiences showcasing 8 new launches from M·A·C’s fall fashion line-up.

Plus, over the weekend you’ll have the chance to meet some of California’s cooliest beauty bloggers while shopping fall’s best trends.

Look for me at at Kiehl’s in South Coast Plaza on Saturday, October 1st from 12 noon until 4pm!   Stop by the Kiehl’s store to say hi, and follow me on Twitter @Recessionista for all the updates from #SouthCoastPlazaStyle.  If you stop by Kiehl’s to see what’s new you can stock up on your must-haves and receive three deluxe Kiehl’s samples with a purchase of $75 or more.
