Marie Claire Magazine and LOFT Join for College Runway Competition

By  |

If you’re a college student about to enter the workforce, and looking for professional looks that won’t break the bank, you might want to check out the Front Row College Challenge.  This competition sponsored by Marie Claire magazine and the LOFT retail chain offers students at schools across the country a chance to win a Marie Claire-produced fashion show at their school. Students will have access to LOFT’s fall collection, and will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to plan, promote, and style their very own runway show this October and November 2011. Even better than style advice and networking, there is a giveaway here.  One lucky student will win a coveted Marie Claire and LOFT summer 2012 internship. If you’re a currently enrolled student, then you might want to check out the Front Row College Challenge at www.marieclaire.com/frontrowchallenge

Beyond the final prize reward, four finalists will be chosen to and then flown to Marie Claire’s offices in New York City to meet with a team of fashion editors to plan their fall campus fashion show.  So even if you don’t win the grand prize, you might just win a trip to NYC and make some important connections.  That’s important in this economy and a fitting incentive to enter!
