The Recessionista’s Sixth Sense: The Sixth Derek Lam Dress for eBAY

Pictured: Almost as rarely sighted as a UFO is the sixth dress Derek Lam designed for eBay.

For some time, I’ve been looking for the above pictured Derek Lam dress on eBay with no luck.  I saw a picture of the dress in a note from eBay fashion showing off the dress on the screen of the eBay iPhone/iPod touch application.  But here’s what I didn’t know, until I did a few Google CIA type searches.  There is a sixth Derek Lam eBay dress in the collection (pictured above), but it is ONLY available for order via the eBay Fashion iPhone/iPod touch app.   This sixth dress is also the lowest priced dress in the collection, priced at $125.00 US.  That’s way better to me than the approximately $300.00 US price tags on the other dresses in the collection.  I also like the cut and style of this dress. To me, it’s a bit more sophicated than the maxi dresses in the collection, or the Chemise Dress/ Boho Chic floral print dress.  Here’s some info about the dress from the eBay listing:

“The silk tee shirt dress features front placket, 6 hidden smoke shell buttons, hidden cotton cord drawstring waist tie, side seam pockets, topstitched cuffed short sleeves, topstitched detail on dress, and shirt tail side openings.”

If you’re interested in the dress and you don’t have an iPhone or an iPad, allow me to share the link to the dress I found using the eBay Fashion iPhone/iPod touch app. 🙂  Click here to check out the bargain of the eBay Derek Lam collection, the Pink Silk Tee dress.

This dress is available is sizes 0 to 18 and eBay offers free shipping in the states, and Worldwide shipping at a cost of $19.99 US.  What do you think of the missing dress readers?
