Los Angeles: MORE Reinvention Convention Giveaway to Christy Turlington Film & Reception

It’s the end of another long hard working week, and that means it’s time to give it up to all my readers with some reader appreciation. Monday, May 23, is MORE Magazine’s reinvention convention.  Get ready Los Angeles, as more than 600 women from across the country will gather for a day of interactive events, panel discussions, beauty makeovers, shopping, giveaways and more.  Tickets and group discounts are now available at www.more.com/reinvention.  One of the highlights of the convention, at least for me, other than the shopping will be the appearance of Rita Wilson.  She will be speaking on  a panel at lunch on Women in Hollywood Panel along with President of Fox Searchlight Pictures Nancy Utley, Entertainment Tonight/The Insider Executive Producer Linda Bell Blue and Kristin Patrick from William Morris Endeavor.   I meet Rita a few years ago at a private party in LA.  She is once of the nicest women in the entertainment industry.  If you can’t make it to LA for the conference, check out the MORE website on Monday. Supermodel Christy Turlington’s film “No Woman, No Cry” will debut at the MORE convention.

Beyond the appearance of Rita and some shopping, one of the convention attractions will be the premiere of a new film by supermodel and activist Christy Turlington. I’m giving away four free tickets to the cocktail reception and screening of Christy’s movie.  The tickets are for the Cocktail Reception and Private Film Screening of, “No Woman, No Cry” with Christy Turlington.  Click here to see the trailer. 

The film shares the powerful stories of at-risk pregnant women in four parts of the world, including a remote Masai tribe in Tanzania, a slum of Bangladesh, a post-abortion care ward in Guatemala, and a prenatal clinic in the United States.
