A Good Sale for a Good Cause: Belk’s Spring Charity Sale

By  |

When in the South, I do as the Southerners do, I shop at Belk! They have great designers and name brands like Jones New York, Free People, Calvin Klein & Lauren by Ralph Lauren. So save the date, the Belk Spring Charity Sale is coming round on April 16, from 6 to 10 a.m. Tickets are $5 and all proceeds go to local charities and schools.  Here are the details:

  • In exchange for a $5 donation, customers will receive a ticket admitting them to the Charity Sale and entitling them to merchandise discounts ranging from 20 to 70 percent on items throughout the store, including special savings on rarely discounted brands.
  • Customers will also receive $5 off their first purchase of $5 or more at the event, and Belk cardholders will receive double Rewards points (and Belk Elite cardholders triple Rewards points) for card purchases.
  • On the morning of the event, the first 100 customers in each store will receive free Belk gift cards ranging in value from $5 to $100, and a chance to win one of three $1,000 Belk gift cards being awarded company-wide.
  • Beginning Friday, April 8th, tickets may be purchased online or at Belk stores with all in-store ticket sale donations divided among the participating charities and schools in each location. There are over 300 Belk department stores, and check the website to find a  location near you at: www.belk.com
