I'm a bit of a Miranda: stylish but not too edge. Tough decision!!! Normally, I'm a Charlotte, but I think every woman's wardrobe needs a pinch of Samantha style. Regardless of body type, every woman needs to feel gloriously sexy-beautiful occasionally, no?
From your post, I liked the yellow, black and white dress. But who knows? Samantha style is not safe or predictable. Maybe when I get to Kohl's, I'll surprise you…and even myself.

Hello! Long time reader, first time commenter. I am most def. a Miranda in terms of personality (professional academic), and in terms of the fashion that I currently wear to teach, I would say that I most resemble her. I wear a lot of blacks and browns and am fairly conservative in terms of makeup and hair because I never really learned how to do it well and because, as a grad student, I don't have a lot of money to experiment with “just for fun” looks. All of my clothes need to double between work and play. However, if I were to win the gift card, I would use it to make my first foray into Carrie territory! I would buy something with some drama and some glamor, something that, while out of place in the classroom, would allow me to stand out in a crowd when I go out with my best girl friend, my sister in law.

I would create a new outfit based on Carrie's style. From the Kohl's website I choose the Heart & Soul Colorblock dress in black, teal, and green. TO accesorize I would pick the candie's black/nude paper fedora, a Mudd floral eternity scarf, and 1928 olive colored earrings. FROM your pieces I would take the green SONOMA life + style Wooden Beaded Flex Bracelet and the Simply Vera Vera Wang Signature Wedge Flip-Flops, but in gold instead of purple.

I would love to rock the Elle Colorblock Mixed-Media Dress with Apt. 9 Knee-Highs in Orchid Mist. I'd have to pair that with some statement shoes, so I'd go with the Dana Buchman Brinkley Wedge Sandals. They have a fun zebra print wedge heel and patent uppers! Finally – for that extra infusion of color, I'd throw in the Rosetti Ava Tote in Mustard. As a veggie, I love that it's faux leather!
