One of the more intriguing fashion week collections from the recent New York Fashion Week was Nanette Lepore’s collection.  Nanette’s designs have long been a favorite of mine. Her clothes are chic and feminine, and accessible via sales at major department stores.  Her fall collection was a bit of  a departure with rich autumn colors, lots of velvet, mini skirts and full length dresses (the velvet dressing gown look) plus chunky coats. I could write more, but instead, I thought I’d give my readers a front row seat and let you see what I saw.  The drop waists on many of the long dresses reminded me of 1920s style.  What do you think?
