I love the pageantry of the Oscars. Living in LA, the excitement has already started. The town is getting ready, and designers and nominees are already on high-alert. Who will wear what? Designed by who? Now the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is getting into the act with a Project Runway style design contest. Today in Los Angeles members of the fashion and entertainment press were introduced to the nine designers and their creations at a runway fashion show at the Academy’s Beverly Hills headquarters.
